Policies

**Aspen & Vail House of Bounce Policy**

**Rental Agreement, Safety Rules, and Operating Instructions**

Upon making your reservation, you will receive an email containing an attachment with our **"Rental Agreement, Release & Liability"** and **"Safety Agreement & Operating Instructions."**

Please read these documents carefully. If you have any questions, feel free to contact us via phone or email. You can return the signed forms by scanning and emailing them, mailing them, or bringing them on the day of your event when we will have copies available for your signature (or that of a representative of your event).

After setting up the inflatable, you or a representative will receive verbal safety rules and guidelines. If you are not present, we will call you to review these safety instructions. This is a great opportunity for you to ask any questions or voice any concerns you may have about the inflatables. We want you to have a fun and safe experience!

**Weather Policy**

In our mountain region, it's common to experience four seasons in a single day! We understand the challenges that weather can present.

There is no penalty or loss of deposit for events canceled due to rain, snow, or high winds, as long as the cancellation occurs before we leave our business location. While we typically leave the decision up to you, Aspen & Vail House of Bounce reserves the right to decline service in cases of heavy rain, snow, or high winds.

We will provide a tarp for you upon setting up, due to the variable weather patterns in our region. We ask that you deflate and cover the bounce house, detach the blowers (instructions will be provided), and store any additional equipment (like Jousting Stix, helmets, etc.) in a dry area. Once the rain or wind stops, you may reattach the blowers and continue your event. If the inflatable is wet, please wipe it down with towels.

**Payment Policy**

We accept personal and company checks, Venmo, and cash. Please inform us ahead of time if you need any special documentation for schools, religious organizations, or similar groups.

Payment is due before or on the day of your event. If your company has policies that may affect timely payments, please let us know.

**Yard Requirements**

The surface for the inflatable setup must be flat and free of any sharp objects such as sticks, rocks, and pet droppings. There should be no low-hanging tree branches or power lines overhead. Driveways or streets (for block parties) are acceptable; please inform us in advance so we can bring sandbags instead of stakes to secure the inflatable.

**Requirements for Securing Inflatables**

Aspen & Vail House of Bounce uses sandbags and/or industrial tent stakes. Stakes range from 18 inches to 5 feet and are securely pounded into the ground for added security. Sandbags weigh between 40 and 50 pounds each. We will always inquire about your irrigation pattern, and Aspen & Vail House of Bounce is not responsible for any damage to irrigation pipes or other unforeseen pipes that may lie underground.

While we will do everything possible to secure our inflatables, it is your responsibility to ensure that they are supervised at all times. Aspen & Vail House of Bounce recommends the Aspen Babysitting Company for inflatable supervision, which you can find in our product section.

**Electrical Requirements**

We require a grounded outlet on a dedicated 20-amp circuit breaker (standard household outlet) to run the two blowers that keep the inflatable inflated. If you are aware that your electricity has trouble powering more than one device, or if you plan to add other devices such as music systems or popcorn machines, we strongly recommend renting an industrial generator (see rental products for more information).
